This is my entry for the @tattoodjay's Wednesday walk challenge.

For several weeks now every Wednesday I have been talking about my weekend walks through the woods. I get a lot of nice reviews about these stories. Last week I even received support from the Curie project. It is very nice and I am ready to tell you more.

Last week I didn’t finish one of the stories. Let's start ...

I talked about how we found a new route. It was a descent from the main road into the ravine. Before us a snowmobile drove here and a skier passed. Therefore, we knew that this route would lead us somewhere to a place known to us.

After walking a little along the ravine we saw a place equipped for picnics. It was a small table and a bench made of wood.

Then we followed the tracks of a snowmobile.

Passing quite a bit, we saw a steep climb. Climbing the loose snow was not easy. I had to help my wife and daughter.

This is how this climb looks from the top of the hill. At first we wanted to go down with him on a snow scooter, but then we decided that the second ascent would take a lot of power from us.

While we were at the top of the hill, a snowmobile passed by. to skip it, we had to leave the track. We fell into the snow on our knees.

A less steep descent with another climb was ahead of us .

We had to miss the skier too.

First, descend, then rise again.

The path led us up the hill.

And at the foot of the hill was a larch forest.

Here we found another picnic spot.

Lonely pines, standing apart from the forest on a hill, look very beautiful.

Going up another hill, we found a fork in which we turned in the direction of our usual route. So we calculated to go to places known to us.

Here was a long descent, along which my daughter and I rolled on a snow scooter. Then I returned to the hill and we repeated the descent with the son.

We enjoyed riding here.

After a long descent, we were again awaited by a long steep ascent.

Climbing up on him, we immediately recognized the road that we took so many times. From this place my son and I usually begin a long descent to the exit from the forest on a snow scooter.

Here is a pine forest on one side of the road.

And on the other side of the forest of larch.

Both those and other trees are quite tall. It's cool to stand in silence and look at the peaks of these giants.

My son and I could not resist and rode on a snow scooter a couple more times. Everybody was already pretty tired and we decided to go to the exit from the forest.

Going out into the open space, we found that it was snowing heavily. Visibility has decreased. During the descent on the snow scooter, the snow was constantly falling into the eyes.

Half way, I decided to try to record a time-lapse video during descent. I downloaded the application for recording time-lapse video on the phone, turned it on and we went. The video was very fast. When viewing, try to reduce its speed in youtube to 0.25. This can be done in the view settings.

Minimalist landscape was waiting for us below.

As you saw in the video, we went down to the ski base and even slid down the hill, where there were already very few people due to the snowfall.

It's nice to travel in this weather. It's more than 30 minutes to drive from the forest to our city. We turned on the pleasant music and watched the snowstorm sweep outside the windows of the car.

This time we walked very well. The Actifit application on my phone counted more than 12,000 steps for this walk. Given that we walked in loose snow, this is a great load!

Well, see you next wednesday!
