Last summer, I decided to take a boat trip around the local lake with my children. The lake is quite small. I don’t even know if it has any name. It is located next to the summer home of my parents.
On a hot summer day, it’s great to board a boat and swim on the lake. A light breeze blows you. You can dip your hand in cool water or watch fish swimming around the boat. Huge dragonflies fly by, and water striderы quickly move along the surface of the water.
Moving around the lake, I periodically freed my hands from oars to take a few frames on the phone.

The bright sun was breaking through the light thin clouds.
When the breeze died down, the surface of the water became smooth as a mirror. And then the sky and trees on the shore were reflected in it.
After swimming a bit on the lake without a goal, we decided to go look for water lilies. I don’t know why, but there is only one place on the lake where water lilies grow. Although there are so many places where the yellow water lilies grow.
I first discovered this place last year. My children really like to come here and see these beautiful water flowers. We never tear them. They are too beautiful for that.
Interestingly, water lilies reveal their flowers for quite some time. In the afternoon, long before sunset, they already fold into buds and open only the next day when the sun is already shining brightly.
This time we sailed here at the right moment. Before us were many open flowers. We stayed here a bit and watched the flowers, as water bugs crawl along them.
And then we headed for a boat ride on the lake further. Such walks are very pleasant. They are even more pleasant when they manage to bring some photographs, which are then pleasant to view in the cold season and remember the warm summer days.
