Having lived almost all of this past year in this city, now I enjoy every time I have the opportunity to revisit it. I mean Iasi, the largest city in the north-east of Romania.
A city full of history! This is seen everywhere. Buildings from the past centuries, especially churches and monasteries.
However, beyond history comes the modern. Iasi is also a modern, university city. Full of young people.
When I visit the city I usually live in an old hotel in the center. Its position is very good and is part of a special architectural complex. I like it a lot! I can prove that I have every reason to like ... The hotel, called Moldova, is behind the church!
The most important buildings in this place are a church built five hundred years ago and the Palace of Culture. The Palace of Culture is the most famous building in Iasi.
This palace, built in the early twentieth century, now houses several important museums, much visited by tourists. Moreover, the building became widely known as being declared among the first three palaces in Europe as a beauty at night.
Looking at the city through the window of the hotel room, day and night.
Fortunately, the window of the hotel room where I lived had a view of these wonderful buildings.
Day and night I could admire them.
A small part of this city. Enough to show his beauty and to attract attention. It is a place worth visiting. I return with pleasure here, it is a starting point to discover many of the offers of this city, from the largest botanical garden to the National Theater. Because I remembered the Botanical Garden, a flower photographed there.
A beautiful initiative, called #alwaysaflower, promotes this. In every blog there should be a flower. I like.
