Hello fellow travelers and lovers of wild and natural places! Today I bring you a trail in the center of Loures which you should already know because here I have already done more than 10 trails since I published in the community! This one today is special because it starts from the village of Barro and goes up through the hills until it reaches the highest point, but even though you pass through the village it becomes increasingly difficult to the point that we can only cross it with hiking poles or without a doubt. you could get hurt! Hola amigos viajeros y amantes de los lugares salvajes y naturales! hoy te traigo un sendero en el centro de Loures el cual ya debe ser conocida por ti pues aqui ya realice mas de 10 senderos desde que publico en la comunidad! este de hoy es especial porque comienza desde la aldea de Barro y va subiendo por las colinas hasta llegar al punto mas alto pero apesar que pasas por la aldea cada vez se va dificultando hasta el punto que solo podremos atraverso con bastones de excursion o sin duda podrias lastimarte! acompañame en este pequeño viaje!🚵♂️🍄🌍

Well, our adventure begins here on a small path next to a stream in the village of Barro, which as you can see has beautiful landscapes, here several types of trees and bushes predominate, olive and pine being very common, despite being a village with a considerable population you can see many types of wild animals from pigs to rabbits! To begin you must follow these coordinates: 38.829079, -9.190795, the path is not circular so when you reach the end point you must turn back, you can do it by the street or by the mountain!🧭🌏🚩
Bueno nuestra aventura comienza aqui en un pequeño sendero al lado de un riachuelo en la aldea de Barro que como puedes ver tiene hermosos paisajes, aqui predominan varios tipos de arboles y arbustos siendo muy comun el oliva y el pino, apesar de ser una aldea con una considerable poblacion puedes ver muchos tipos de animales salvajes desde cerdos hasta conejos! para comenzar debes seguir estas coordenadas: 38.829079, -9.190795, el sendero no es circular por tanto al llegar al punto final deberas regresarte puedes hacerlo por la calle o por la montaña!🚵♂️🍍🌄

Here I present the Santa Maria de Loures church which we are going to pass while doing the trail and it is worth a visit because it has a semi-modern appearance but it dates back to the 15th century and despite being restored it is a jewel that was built in the age of discovery when the first Catholic settlers settled in the village! It always has lights so visiting it at night is quite a spectacle!🚩🧭🌏
Aqui te presento la iglesia Santa Maria de Loures la cual vamos a pasar mientras hacemos el sendero y vale la pena hacer una visita porque tiene un aspecto medio moderno pero data del siglo XV y apesar de ser restaurada se trata de una joya que fue construida en la era de los descubrimientos cuando los primeros pobladores catolicos se asentaron en la aldea! siempre tiene luces por lo que visitarla en la noche es todo un espectaculo!🍄🌍🌾

Now that we started to leave the village we walked about 3km I would say and what we least expected happened! we got lost hahaha! And the trail does not have any signage so we had to use Google Maps to follow the correct paths to get to the Herdade da Pena hill. In reality, you can do this adventure as you wish! You can add the level of difficulty you want or just walk through the villages! However, a super wild ride will come and you won't be able to escape there!🌏🧭🌄
Ahora que comenzamos a dejar la aldea caminamos unos 3km diria yo y sucedio lo que menos esperabamos! nos perdimos jajaja! y es que el sendero no tiene ninguna señalizacion asi que tuvimos que usar el googlemaps para seguir los caminos correcto para llegar a la colina Herdade da Pena en realidad esta aventura puedes hacerla como tu desees! puedes añadirle el nivel de dificultad que desees o simplemente ir caminando por las aldeas! sin embargo llegara un trayecto super salvaje y ahi no podras escapar!🥇🚵♂️🍍

I think one of my favorite parts is after going up the hill we have to go down some pretty difficult paths and well you have to go step by step and when we get to the end we will pass by a small stream that is inside a eucalyptus forest, a pretty tree. common in Portugal, up to this point we have already walked about 4km I would say and we are halfway there!👀🧭🌏
Creo que una de mis partes favoritas es luego de subir la colina debemos bajar por algunos caminos bastantes dificiles y bueno tienes que ir de paso a paso y cuando llegamos al final pasaremos por un pequeño riachuelo que esta dentro de un bosque de eucalipto un arbol bastante comun en Portugal, hasta este punto ya caminamos unos 4km diria yo y estamos a mitad del camino!😲🚙

The further we go into the mountain we reach a height of more than 100 meters and I would say that the hill you can still climb to about 150 meters but there is no path so it is dangerous, you can clearly see the change in climate and the ecosystem here you begin to see many species of fungi, lichens and mosses! Also the road is muddy and quite difficult to work on!🚵♂️🧭🌏
Mientras mas nos adentramos a la montaña llegamos a una altura de mas de 100 metros y diria que la colina aun consigues subir a unos 150 metros pero no hay camino por tanto es peligroso, puedes ver claramente el cambio del clima y el ecosistema aqui comienzas a ver muchas especies de hongos, liquenes y musgos! tambien el camino es lodoso y bastante dificil de trabajar!🏃♀️🏃♀️

With this photo you get an idea of how complicated the terrain is when there is no mud, you come across paths full of stones that are slippery and well, many times we almost fell but thanks to the poles nothing happened, so the right equipment is important. on the excursion!👀🧭🌏
con esta foto te haces una idea de lo complicado que es el terreno cuando no hay barro te topas por caminos llenos de piedra que son resbalozas y bueno muchas veces casi nos caimos pero gracisa a los bastones no paso nada por eso es importante el equipo adecuado en la excursion!😲🚙

As you can see the landscape is quite dense and humid here we no longer have a way to return so we are very close to reaching our objective, it is the Herdade da Pena hill which also has a beautiful farm for special events! We hadn't eaten in more than two hours of walking so we took a break in the middle of a pine forest and a beautiful view!🚵♂️🧭🌏
Como puedes ver el paisaje es bastante denso y humedo aqui ya no tenemos como devolvernos por eso estamos muy cercas para llegar a nuestro objetivo se trata de la colina Herdade da Pena que tiene tambien una granja bonita para eventos especiales! no habiamos comido en mas de dos horas de caminata asi que hicimos una pausa en medio de un bosque de pinos y una linda vista!🏆🚩
