Photo Safari at Jaša Tomić
Jaša Tomić is a town located in the Central Banat District of Serbia. It has a population of around 2.900 people.
NMR Info portal and Photo Club CD13 from Zrenjanin organized second Photo safari in Jaša Tomić. Why do they call it a safari i am not sure :) This was my first visit to event of this kind and i did not know what to expect. Start of the safari was planned at 9AM so at 8 a friend of mine and me were on the road. Past 7-10 days were really hot for this part of a year but as we got closer to Jaša clouds were gathering and we started making jokes how last photo gathering that we tried to attend was canceled because of bed weather and we were not aware of it and how this will be the same :)
Meetup was at a tavern and most of the people were already there. Organizators say that there was over 60 photographers. We got some breakfast and coffee and everyone was ready to go and explore. We all got a map with places to see. And the rain started, but everyone was determined that it will not spoil the fun and we got some diffused light :D
This first part of the photo series will be about photographers, and how i seen them at this day.
do they argue which is better, canon or nikon? :)
did they all got the same shot?
as you can see rain did not stop us
a bit crowded? abandoned building, not so abandoned now
colege at work
yes that doll was nailed to the wall
models don't know where to look, photographers everywhere :)
short brake
nice one, no this is not that great, ooo someone is taking a photo of us :) (i missed the smile at the end :( )
If you have an opportunity to go to this kind of gathering, do it. It is a great opportunity to take photos, but better part of it is meeting some new people, seeing their work, and random chatting with people that have similar interests as you do. It is also interesting to see how 60 photographers see different things and they all stand next to each other. I know that i will visit it next year again for sure, and that some of this people will not be strangers anymore.
