It has been a real strain on the people of Bangkok city with all the lock downs and i am sure this is taking a toll on many other countries around the world. I confined myself to my room in the hotel , i have been staying in for the past 2 weeks since i got here in Thailand 6 weeks ago for work relation but yesterday i just needed to get out for a walk people were telling me it was like a ghost town out there.
So with only a handful of people out there i decided i would put my mask on and take the walk thinking only a handful of people out there i would be pretty safe. I don't understand how a prison can survive in a prison cell.
There certainly has been a lot of business creativity over this virus , i suppose that has kept the broaden away for some and making a dollar while at it 😊
So after walking a few kilometers down these main city roads that you normal have to play chicken to get across these roads today you can have a game of football on these roads with been disturbed.
One of the most busiest intersection and road that leads into Bangkok city a handful of cars a amazing sight to see in knowing how it really should be.
Train stations empty 😲
I had set my google map on my phone to lead me to the central city park called Lumpini Park i thought i would go and like at beautiful spring nature to set my mind and soul more clear.
In the twenty years that i have been coming in and out of Bangkok city i would have never thought i would see Bangkok as a ghost town this was real and this virus is getting more out of hand.
In the times before when i had been to this city park i have known it to be thriving with people either walking around , jogging , relaxing reading a book or families having a picnic by the lake but today i feel i am alone in my own backyard.
Even the pigeons felt alone wondering who is going to feed us now 😲
This lake is normally filled with foot paddle boats with people enjoying the city and park views from the center lake.
Even this Monitor lizard was in a daze wondering where everyone was.
The one good thing , i was enjoying the beautiful mother nature of spring around me everything was blooming so colorful and vibrant it just made me feel that everything will come back in a purified form again and stronger just like Hive has 😊
Even the gyms in the park were closed up and tape off like a crime scene but all has to be done this way to avoid more spread.
This area normally has aerobic classes happening in the later afternoons but no classes be held at the moment just nothing.
But never mind i am enjoying these Golden Shower Flower trees aren't they amazing and i love the name yes Golden Shower Flowers you heard it right 😂
You know despite all that's going on with this virus , i was so happy to be amongst all this beauty but while i was walking around i was praying for all them sick people out there and hopping that they will pull through to be able to come out and see all this beauty again.
One amazing thing i noticed today was how pollution free the sky was nice blue and clear 🌞
Well that was my walk around the lonely city of Bangkok today and no matter what curves this epidemic is going to take we will beat it and it will make us stronger. Stay safe and healthy all 😊
