Not even talking about big cities, suppose even a smaller, but modern ones can provide some decent possibilities for architectural photography in very different aspects. Rehovot, pretty small city in Israel located pretty close to Tel-Aviv to the south-east.
With a present population around 130K it is really not big, but with some nice examples of modern "glass'n'reflection architecture" i a business and industrial district.
While somehow I didn't see any general concept of such building location over there, those single examples of higher building (not really skyscrapers like in huge megalopolises like NY or Tokyo for example, but still... ) represented pretty special architectural designs and basically were really worth to try to make some decent shots while just walking around
Using long tele-photo lens with a decent focal range, that was actually possible to take some epic shots with vertical dynamic, as well as interesting and quite minimalistic details of building frontal views with well compressed perspective. The deep blue sky with some nice clouds here and there was just perfect addiction to the whole scenery.
The story starts from industrial district and coming back to the main street of Rehovot with some different architecture in a living region
Post-production and basic tweaking in Lightroom only
Enjoy the story!
