Ana's Adventure with KiKi

I haven't posted in a while. I've been very busy with friends, family, outside, and a concert.

Today my Daughter and I went on one of our typical walks but it wasn't completely typical. We had a great mini adventure.

I basically had to force my child to go to the park. She's not good with transitions due to her mental circumstances. We hardly got into the park and she said, "WHOA" ... I looked down and replied, "WHOA" ... a cop who was parked fairly close said, "I know right?". 😄

This caterpillar was HUGE! I tried showing size ratio in the photos but these images do nothing for example. I've never seen a caterpillar so large. What would the butterfly look like? I've never been frightened of a butterfly; something tells me that may change.

We stood in the water for a long time, feet grounded to withstand the heavy waves crashing into us. There were a few waves that I was sure would take us down. No way was I going to attempt to swim- I can't swim well anyway.

Then we sat on the rocks while she chatted, and chatted, and... "Hey look, a parasailer!". I learned something today: parasailers actually fly up off of the water. 😳 😁

I didn't want to go home to my chores (and now I'm posting this instead).

Then I followed KiKi to the sandboxes not missing the opportunity to take a photo of a sleeping old man. I don't know how his newspaper didn't fly away. KiKi played and then sweet talked me into getting into the sand after I made her take selfies with me. I hadn't realized that it's been a VERY long time since she and I took a photo together.

On our way home we got into some trouble. I've never been the best rule follower. Bad patenting at its funnest. KiKi seemed to enjoy being in that thing.

More trouble.

And... yep, more trouble.

Then, on the road again 🎵

As we approached the apartment, Ki said that these things were airplane wings, I told her that they weren't wings. I figured that they were old pipes that have been laying there for months, or longer. When approaching, I realized that she was right. Um.... What??? Why in the heck are there random airplane wings tossed near my place? This is odd and concerning, I don't want to think about it.

This photo didn't turn out very well but I really like how it appears with a few edits.

What a fun adventure we had.

I guess it's time that I go get those dishes washed 😤 😁
