Time to pick up a friend at the airport. I head over and gather and greet my friend who I have not seen in many months. It is such a nice touch to the heart to see someone who came all this way to travel and see with me. 

We spend time catching up and have some food and letting my friend get some sleep and recover from the flight.

The next day we head out to the island....here we are on the back of taxi drivers.  I left my steel horse at the hotel for the time away on an island there is no need for wheels.

We make it in some round about way after getting lost a on the wrong docks. We find the right docks and the boats that could take us where we want to go.

So we go get onto the next boat and make out way across the ocean.

Where we are heading is towards the next bit of land ahead.

We make it to the island but the completely wrong part. Another couple is let off at our stop.

There is no more boats we are told. Nothing going to the other side till tomorw.

The guy I just met and I all want to go to the other side so we have to hire a boat that is hanging around. We pay and get on a bit upset that they dropped us here where no boat are for hire. But everything is for hire here. We find some locals and they are happy to take some cash to take us to a place we were supposed to be taken to the first time.

Hiring another boat was not too hard but was a bit expensive considering we paid to get to the spot already,. The meeting was perfect the other couple i met was in the same field of work as myself. We had a good deal to talk about and would continue our conversations at another time.

The tranquility that abound as the sea state calms and the sun goes down. Port is lose insight and we will be house and warm tonight.

We make landfall a few moments later.

Up the beach and through the trees we come closer to the place for the night.

A little more and we are there.

I shall leave it there for the day. It has been a long one filled with much emotions and movement. The place is nice and relaxing and I cannot wait for the possible sunny day to be had tomorrow with a friend in the sun.
