In a few minutes I will finish writing this post and go on a Sunday trip somewhere not far from Kostroma. Not far - it's about two hours by car. The radius is pretty decent and I haven't decided where to go yet.

You can go to our Kostroma region. You can go towards the Yaroslavl region. And there and there is something to see.

The very fact that I decided to go is good weather. Today the sky is blue and the clouds are rare. This is picturesque weather and I hope for some beautiful shots of spring nature.

It is now nine o'clock in the morning and this means that I have a big daylight ahead of me. Sunset will be around 19:00. It turns out that there are as many as 10 hours of daylight hours, and if you set aside two hours in one direction and two hours in the opposite direction, about six hours remain for a walk.

This is more than enough.

In the meantime, I bring up from the archive several photographs of a similar trip, which took place several years ago.

That time I went to the city of Galich, Kostroma region. To be in this city, I had to drive through the city of Sudislavl. The beautiful white bell tower in Sudislavl stands on the mountain. Effectively.

I arrived in Galich and the weather was not as good as when I left Kostroma. But all the same, it was interesting for me to see the city.

Interesting architectural objects have been preserved in Galich. For example, shopping malls. There is a large mountain called Balchug. There is a large memorial cross on the mountain.

The history of this region is quite ancient. Interesting archaeological finds are still being found here. At this place there was a tribe of ancient people and there was some kind of civilization of its own.

So today I hope for something interesting! While!
