Night, stars, Volga river

The autumn night sky attracts me. If in the evening I see that there are no clouds in the sky, then I should take a camera, tripod, flashlight, and go somewhere in a dark place and try to photograph the stars.

Another such exit on the hunt for stars led me to the Volga. Away from the city, it seemed to me that it was very dark around. But after a few minutes in the dark, I realized that I could see everything well except for what was under my feet.

Stars were visible in the sky, but there was a slight haze in the atmosphere, which made it difficult not to see the milky way. And the moon came out and illuminated everything like the sun.

In short, it was not a good solution. In the dark, I stepped into the water, slipped and fell. At the time of the fall, I was holding a tripod with a camera. The camera hit me hard on the head.

Angry, with a bump on my head, with a wet foot, I climbed through the bushes along the river bank in search of a convenient location to shoot. I was looking for a good view.

Finally, I stopped at a small hillock. It overlooked the Volga. Somewhere far away the city of Kostroma was burning with lights. In the photograph, these lights turn to glow.

When I finished shooting and walked through the birch grove to the car, I saw that the sky and stars were visible through the tops of the trees. It was beautiful and I decided to stop and take another shot. If during the day you just take out your camera, look through the viewfinder and press the shutter button.

Things aren't quite that fast at night. First you take out a tripod and set it up. You set the camera on a tripod and look through the viewfinder to adjust the position of the camera. The problem is, it's dark all around. To operate the camera normally, you must have a flashlight. And it is very convenient that this flashlight is on your head and does not require your hands.

I don't have such a flashlight and therefore it is a little difficult for me to work in the dark.

But everything worked out and, despite the fact that, in general, the shooting turned out to be not very interesting, but the very fact that I got out at night on the autumn bank of the Volga and filmed for pleasure is good!
