From Thessaloniki around Greece

Leaving the arrival city of Thessaloniki, I directed the car south along the sea. Our journey was just beginning and it was all the same where to go. Of course, the main attractions are in Athens. The Parthenon is an ancient temple that must be inspected. But Greece is a rather large country and has countless attractions. Therefore, I decided to go and I left my wife, my faithful navigator, to study and lay the route.

The road was of excellent quality. Great autobahn. From time to time along the roads I saw some pictures that were pleasant to my eye and I had to turn, stop, to take some photos.

I was especially fascinated by the green field, the manor and the mountains against the blue sky. This picture was so pleasant to my heart that I can not help but share it.

On the E75, I raced towards the town of Katerini. Then it was decided to leave the highway and go to the seashore. On the shore was a small village of Paralia. This is a village for sea beach holidays. It all consists of hotels, beaches, cafes and street souvenirs. In addition, fur trading centers are located here. Everything for tourists.

But it was in April and the beach season has not yet begun. The town was deserted. Despite this, he was not without his charm.

The white church on the shore, the clouds over the gray sea and the bright blue sky between the clouds made the picture very bright and memorable.

We walked along the coast along the main street to the port itself, where the fishing schooners stood. Ships are very beautiful structures. There is probably something sacred in the image of the ship. Maybe this is the gene memory of the ark?

Another interesting fact that was very pleasant and interesting to me. I saw the mountains. Let in the distance, but still, these were real mountains. Sea and mountains. What could be more beautiful.

I live in a flat area where there is no sea and no mountains. Both are very valuable to me.

And Greece, these small towns like Katerini, Paralia have amazing charm and beauty, for which it’s worth coming here even out of season.
