Now the sun is shining outside the window and the weather is quite spring, but more recently I had to go to another city 300 kilometers from my city of Kostroma.

The trip was not for pleasure and I had to go by a certain time. Like it or not, but it was necessary to go.

I had to go on the road at dawn.

The weather was unlucky. It was snowing and foggy. The visibility on the road was so low that the cars disappeared from view literally after a dozen meters. It is very dangerous to go fast on such a road. I even took some photos right through the windshield of the car so that I could see how the car dissolves into a white haze. The photo shows only a pale spot one of the stop signals of the car in front of me. The second brake light is not visible at all.

Such weather accompanied me for about one hour's journey. It was very scary and unpleasant to drive in such a gray gloom. On the way, I saw an accident in the oncoming lane. Two cars collided due to poor visibility and one of them in a hurry.

Now they are in no hurry.

After a while, the visibility improved, although the snow continued to fall. I rode and looked around. Despite the fact that the world around was gray and nondescript, I really liked the views that I drove past.

There are deserted fields and isolated islands of trees. There are also snow-covered villages. This Russia, sleeping in the snow, is dear to my eyes, although it causes some strange melancholy.

An amazingly strange feeling. Akin to the feelings that Russian classical literature evokes.
