Walk in the city at night
This winter I found myself in the big city of Nizhny Novgorod. It was a one-day trip, better to say one night.
I arrived in Nizhny Novgorod at about 4 pm. In winter, it is already quite dark at this time. We decided to walk through the night Nizhny Novgorod.
To make it more interesting for us to walk from the sky, snow fell. The snowfall began to intensify and soon we realized that just walking is very difficult. You need to go closer to the hotel and go to a cafe to eat something.
As a result, we went to Pokrovka Street. This is the main pedestrian street with many different cafes and bars.
It was snowing so hard that even the doors of some cafes were very difficult to open.
Public utilities fought the consequences of the snow as best they could.
There is one very beautiful house on Pokrovka street. This is the building of the state bank in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. The pseudo Russian style in architecture looks very nice in a modern city.
Many branches of the State Bank of Russia in different cities of Russia are located in interesting architectural structures.
We also have such a house in the city of Kostroma and it looks just as great.
The night walk through the city of Nizhny Novgorod has come to an end. Actually, the walk was not great. Simply, snowfall, cold and city lights.
Hopefully the next day there will be clearer weather and sunshine. Then I can take a few more photos of this most interesting city.
