Tomorrow will be an unusual Sunday afternoon. This day is known as the Maslenitsa holiday. This is the legacy of pagan times. Spring comes and it is perceived as the beginning of a new life. This is a new year in ancient Slavic cultures.

Shrovetide is a holiday of the wire of winter. Pancakes are baked on this day. Some say that pancake is a symbol of the sun. I think this is nonsense.

In my opinion, a pancake is the easiest way to prepare an edible from flour and water.

Replace the place and the pitches. Nothing complicated.

Of course, with the development of culture and technology, pancakes have turned from a very simple dish into complex and unusual designs.

In one of the restaurants in my city, I tried these pancakes. They are made completely in the original style, but the basis is the same simple pancake.
