Holidays 2020

In the New Year holidays, I managed to go on a trip to Moscow. Moscow is the capital of our country. The largest city in Russia. Moscow is a center of finance, a center of entertainment, a center of civilization.
I live in a small town 350 km away. from Moscow. This distance can be overcome by car in 5-6 hours. The last time I was in Moscow during the winter holidays four years ago. This is a long time and I had the desire to once again see the capital in the bright colors of New Year's decorations.
This year the weather in central Russia is not at all winter. On a rare day, the temperature drops below zero. There is no snow at all. Just before the New Year, a little snow appeared in my city, but in Moscow everything was clean and completely without snow, as if in autumn.
In the center of Moscow, festivities take place on the streets and squares. Here and there music is heard. Groups of young people dressed in costumes entertain walkers by dancing.
Since we were in Moscow, it seems to make sense to visit the Kremlin. A visit to the most important symbol of our homeland - the Kremlin - is an important part of a trip to Moscow.
The Kremlin is a place of Russian history. By the way, the word itself means a fortified place. The Kremlin is also called Detinets. The Kremlin that we can see now is not quite Russian architecture. The towers and walls of the Russian Kremlin were Italian architects, assisted by an architect from Scotland.
Walls like in the Russian Kremlin I saw in Milan. Sforza Castle, which was created by Leonardo Da Vinci, looks very similar.
After the Moscow Kremlin was built, then the fashion for such walls went all over Russia and this Italian architecture turned into original Russian.
The Kremlin that we see now is not the first Kremlin in Moscow. There was wooden, there was white stone. But now we see this red Kremlin.
Getting on an excursion to the Kremlin is not particularly difficult. You just go to the ticket office and buy a ticket. But not on weekends and holidays. A huge number of people want to be at any entertainment events. A visit to the Kremlin as well. Therefore, huge queues at the box office. The lines are so big that they can scare any tourist.
We used the site of the Kremlin museums to buy tickets online. This gave us the opportunity not to stand in lines and very quickly be on excursions.

I ended up in Moscow without my camera. I used my Samsung Note 9 for shooting. I do not like to shoot on a smartphone, but since there is nothing else at hand, I have to use what is ...
Here are some photos from a trip to Moscow in the winter of 2020.
