To the forest and to the river
A short trip to the forest near the town of Kostroma. We just wanted to take a walk in the forest. There are a lot of forests around Kostroma and we need to choose exactly the forest that will be best for us.
I know that if you go towards the city of Krasnoe-on-Volga, there will be a beautiful forest along the road and there will also be a bank of the Volga River.
I decided that it was worth going there.
Now I already know exactly where I need to go next time. I need to go to a village with the strange name of Homonikha.
It is here that there is a very beautiful Volga bank and a good pine forest.
I like this forest because it has very clean undergrowth. You can walk in such a forest as in a park. The only trouble is mosquitoes. But if you are well dressed, then the mosquito problem means almost nothing.
After walking in the forest, we went to the river bank. Along the entire long coast, there are village houses. Almost every house has its own boat dock. People who live in these houses or come here to rest from the city to their dacha know a lot about fishing.
Passing these boat docks, I was unable to drive past one of them.
Old gangway among the river sedge. Sun shine on the water. The smell of water and warm air. I stood and looked at this amazing picture.
I hope I managed to convey the beauty of this place in the photograph at least a little.
A short walk to the forest and to the river ended. I just wanted to rest and did not even expect to see a real miracle. A landscape that touches my soul and heart.
And I returned home happy and refreshed for a new working day.
