The beach of Agiofili is a small, hard-to-reach but incredibly beautiful beach in the south of the island of Lefkada, near the resort town of Vasiliki. You can reach the beach in two ways: in ten minutes on a tourist boat from the port of Vasiliki or forty minutes on foot along a dirt road under the hot summer sun.
Obviously, the boat was not our option! :)
We bought drinking water and walked along the road. We walked easily and quickly because one of the most stunning Greek beaches was waiting for us! Ten minutes later we slowed down the pace a little, after twenty minutes we ran out of water, in thirty minutes we were in front of the gate with the inscription «private property». Wow!
This is how the entrance to the territory of one of the most magnificent beaches in Greece looks like.
Like everyone who didn't choose a boat, we bravely climbed over the gate. To the beach there were still three hundred meters... and here it is!
A cozy bay, surrounded by white rocks, creates a unique landscape and a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation.
It was in July, in high season, and vacationers on the beach was very much. As you can see, their beach umbrellas gave the landscape a lot of bright colors.
It's really amazing beach!
Steps to the beach.
The turquoise sea, small pebbles and crystal clearest water. And a tourist boat.
We bathed, had a little rest, cast a sad look at the damn boat... and began to gather in a way back.
