What you make on TravelFeed is yours. You can download all of it whenever you like, no support ticket needed: go to your Dashboard → Settings and scroll to Your data.
What you can include
Tick what you want, then click Download archive:
- Posts: every published post, twice. An HTML file that opens in any browser and can be imported into other platforms, and a JSON file with the metadata (title, date, tags, location, cover image and the post's address on TravelFeed).
- Replies to your posts: the complete comment threads under your posts, one file per post. If you ever move your blog elsewhere, this is the part you would otherwise lose.
- Comments you wrote on other posts: your own comments elsewhere on TravelFeed, collected in a single file.
- Drafts: everything in your drafts folder, including scheduled posts.
- Photos & media: your original uploads in full resolution. Tick this one only when you want the photos; it can be a large download.
Your profile and account details are always part of the archive, along with your following and followers lists and, if you have a blog subscription, your blog settings.
Good to know
- You can create three exports per hour.
- The download starts right away and streams as one ZIP file. A large photo library can take a few minutes, so keep the tab open until it finishes.
- Each download link works once. If a download fails, just request a new archive.
- The archive includes a
manifest.jsonthat lists and counts everything inside, so you can check that nothing is missing.
What the export does not contain
Passwords and login tokens are never exported. The archive also leaves out content you did not create: other people's posts stay with their authors, just like yours stay with you.
