Nach einer Krankheit und einem Krankenhausaufenthalt konnte ich endlich wieder mit meinem Van auf Tour gehen. Auch wenn die Fahrt nur kurz war, tut es der Seele gut, aus dem Alltag herauszukommen.
After illness and a stay in the hospital, I was finally able to go on tour with my van again. Although the trip was short, getting out of the daily routine is good for the soul.

Auf dem Weg zu einem Termin in der rheinland-pfälzischen Stadt Speyer hatte ich etwas Zeit und spazierte durch die Fußgängerzone vom Altpörtel zum Dom.
On my way to an appointment in the Rhineland-Palatinate city of Speyer, I had some time and walked through the pedestrian zone from the Altpörtel to the cathedral.

Nach meinem Termin in Speyer fuhren wir etwa 50 km weiter in die hessische Kleinstadt Lorsch. Ein schöner Wohnmobilstellplatz für 16 Fahrzeuge empfing uns.
After my appointment in Speyer, we drove about 50 km further to the small Hessian town of Lorsch. A beautiful RV park for 16 vehicles welcomed us.

Unser Stadtspaziergang führte uns durch den Klosterpark zum Back- und Brauhaus Dreyß, wo wir ein leckeres Essen und ein leckeres Bier zu uns nahmen.
Our walk through the city took us through the monastery park to the Dreyß Baking and Brewing House, where we had a delicious meal and a tasty beer.
