Yesterday I went for a job interview for a position in Culver City. (Unsure if I have gotten the job, but I am to get back to them soon.)
I had a peaceful stroll around the town afterwards. It was partly cloudy; the best time to visit this relatively unknown yet pleasant part of LA that seems to be made for people.
It was such a pleasant atmosphere that I explored for a few hours instead of going right home, killing my feet in the process.
There are also other atmospheric and interesting bars and restaurants; I do hope the Mexican Cantina "Kayndave's" opens again.
Culver City just feels different than the rest of LA. I could be fooled that I was in New England; with it's interesting buildings and tree-lined streets.
I keep forgetting should I return to this place. It is not that hard to get to.
