Today I am once again here with you, sharing my experience and journey of the day in the #wednesdaywalk community, as part of the initiative of @tattoodjay . Who has created this space, to learn a little more about different places. I wish you all an excellent day full of special moments.
I started early in the morning, leaving home to do my banking errands, which this time was in Asunción. The sun was just peeking out, and the fresh air promised a day full of possibilities and positives, which is something I love. However, on my mind was also the list of ingredients I needed to prepare a delicious birthday cake for our son. It is a tradition in our family to wake him up singing to him on his special day, and this year would be no exception.

Hoy me encuentro una vez más aquà con ustedes, compartiendo mi experiencia y recorrido del dÃa en la comunidad #wednesdaywalk , como parte de la iniciativa de @tattoodjay . Que ha creado este espacio, para conocer un poco más de diversos lugares. Les deseo a todos un excelente dÃa lleno de momentos especiales.
Comencé temprano por la mañana, saliendo de casa para realizar mis diligencias bancarias, que en esta ocasión fue en la Asunción. El sol apenas asomaba, y el aire fresco prometÃa un dÃa lleno de posibilidades y positivos, que eso es algo que me encanta. Sin embargo, en mi mente estaba también la lista de ingredientes que necesitaba para preparar una deliciosa torta de cumpleaños para nuestro hijo. Es una tradición en nuestra familia despertarlo cantándole en su dÃa especial, y este año no serÃa la excepción.
My husband, unpacked early, picked me up at the bank. Together we headed to the market to shop, where the vibrant colors of the flowers outside greeted us. The recent rains had further embellished the petals, and I couldn't resist their splendor. I am a plant lover, and when they are in bloom, my heart is filled with joy. Nature, dressed in her finery, always gives us beautiful moments that we should know how to appreciate.
Mi esposo, se desocupo temprano, me recogió en el banco. Juntos nos dirigimos al mercado para hacer la compra , donde los colores vibrantes de las flores fuera del recinto nos saludaban. Las lluvias recientes habÃan embellecido aún más los pétalos, y no pude resistirme a su esplendor. Soy amante de las plantas, y cuando están florecidas, mi corazón se llena de alegrÃa. La naturaleza, vestida de gala, siempre nos regala momentos hermosos que debemos saber apreciar.
With our shopping done, we prepared to return home. However, as I usually do on my walks, I decided to change the usual route. In the distance, I spotted a casino, and my curiosity led me to enter the parking lot just to look. Although gambling is not my thing, I respect everyone's tastes.
Con nuestras compras realizadas, nos preparamos para regresar a casa. Sin embargo, como suelo hacer en mis paseos, decidà cambiar el recorrido habitual. A lo lejos, divisé un casino, y mi curiosidad me llevó a entrar al parqueo solo para mirar. Aunque los juegos de azar no son lo mÃo, respeto los gustos de cada persona.
The building is undergoing repairs at the moment, and only the casino part is in operation. Even so, my husband remembers the times when this place was very active. Tourists would arrive in their boats to visit the casino and stay at the hotel. Margarita was in its heyday, and the gaming tables were witness to high stakes betting and shared laughter.
La edificación se encuentra en plena reparación en estos momentos, y solo la parte del casino está en funcionamiento. Aún asÃ, mi esposo recuerdo los tiempos en que este lugar era muy activo. Turistas llegaban en sus lanchas para visitar el casino y hospedarse en el hotel. Margarita vivÃa una época de bonanza, y las mesas de juego eran testigos de grandes apuestas y risas compartidas.
Before heading home, I caught a glimpse of the lighthouse standing in the distance, appreciated by all. Its light guides sailors into the marina and reminds them of the beauty and history of this island. We left with the promise to return and explore more of the marina on future trips.
Antes de emprender nuestro camino para la casa, alcancé a ver el faro que se erguÃa a lo lejos, apreciado por todos. Su luz es la que guÃa a los navegantes a entrar en la marina y les recuerda la belleza y la historia de esta isla . Nos retiramos con la promesa de volver y explorar más la marina en futuros paseos.
We continued on our way home, and on the way, we passed by an "autocauchos" to check the tire pressure. To our surprise, there was no electricity at the station, and only the store was operational. We decided to continue at our leisure, knowing that tomorrow, before leaving for work, we will have to refill the air tires. The island is getting ready for the vacation season, and the cars fill the streets, eager to explore every corner, and the traffic is starting to feel a little heavy.
Continuamos nuestro camino hacia casa, y en el trayecto, pasamos por un "autocauchos" para revisar la presión de los neumáticos. Para nuestra sorpresa, no habÃa electricidad en la estación, y solo la tienda estaba operativa. Decidimos seguir con tranquilidad, sabiendo que mañana, antes de salir a trabajar, tendremos que recargar los cauchos de aire. La isla se prepara para la temporada de vacaciones, y los carros llenan las calles, ansiosos por explorar cada rincón, ya el tráfico comienza a sentirse un poco pesado.
