Villa Melzi is required to visit. The cost is 8 EUR.

The villa belonged to the vice-premier of the Italian Republic of the time of Napoleon.

In the museum, on the territory of the villa are kept relics and trophies of the Napoleonic period. Among them there are even keys from Milan, which were handed to Napoleon when he entered the city.

The villa is privately owned and closed to visitors.

But you can enjoy walks in the park. A spacious park in English style is decorated with a pond, sculptures, avenues and fountains.

It is impossible to pass and past a Moorish-style gazebo with a view of the lake and snow-covered Alps with busts of Meltsi inside. Leaving the arbor, you will see the sculpture of Dante and Beatrice.

Walking through the narrow streets with hundreds of tourists, we went to the observation deck of La Punta. This is the place where the lake is divided into two sleeves, resembling an inverted slingshot.

It is nice to relax in the park, the atmosphere is relaxing, people are arranged right on the grass. Opens the view of the snow-capped peaks of the Alps. The water in the lake is so clear that you can see the fish that floats near the shore. Here is a restaurant, boat rental.
