Coro was founded in 1527, is one of the oldest cities in the country and in 1993 UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site in order to promote its preservation.

Coro fue fundada en 1527, es una de las ciudades más antiguas del país y en 1993 la Unesco la declaró como Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad para así promover su resguardo.

The Spanish colonizers designed it to resemble the cities of the Canary Islands and Andalusia at the end of the 15th century. There are parts where the streets are paved with cobblestones, which gives it a special touch, it immediately takes you back to other times.

Los colonizadores españoles la diseñaron a semejanza de las ciudades de las Islas Canarias y Andalucía de finales del siglo XV. Hay partes donde las calles están empedradas, lo que le da un toque especial, te traslada de inmediato a otros tiempos.

You can not walk there at all hours because the heat is very strong, at sunset is ideal or if you get a cloudy day as happened to me in several of the photos I show.

Eso sí, no se puede caminar por allí a toda hora porque el calor es muy fuerte, al atardecer es ideal o si te toca un día nublado como me pasó en varias de las fotos que muestro.
