One day was not enough for the place

After finishing our lunch at the Tampara Resort, (refer my last post), we headed straight to the Gopalpur Sea beach. The check in time was early, but we could only reach there at 4 pm and after checking in to Hotel Pramod Lands End, we wanted to spend the evening at the beach.

The hotel is a new property that has been developed just few months ago, and it was a posh experience for all of us. They charged 9k per room that included breakfast, and it was no less than a 5-star experience. We quickly changed and headed for the beach, but could not resist taking some snaps before.

The pathway to the beach would be around 500 meters, but the land actually ends there - so a thoughtful name of the property. They are developing this property so hopefully after couple of years, this will look more beautiful. People working over there advised us to come back before dark, because this part of that area is not very safe after evening, especially with family and not in a very big group. That was a bit disappointment, probably the hotel could have done better in providing some people for safety till 8 p.m.

Sea side view of the property, quite sure they will get popular soon and price will increase.

Quite a rare capture from far, thanks to the zooming capability of the lens.

A solo reel was inevitable, you can watch in her Instagram :

And then a bit of practice to do a combo, but it did not shape up, so postponed for next morning.

Coming back, the kids went to the pool and we went to the room for a hot cup of tea. The room service needs to be a little better, it took almost 45 minutes to get the tea.

A little less than 600 rupees for couple of cup of tea - felt like over priced, so we decided to go out for dinner. They do have a gaming arcade, nicely named as La La Land, but then everything was payable, with the price being on higher side.

The boy was quite disappointed there, they close all these facilities by 8 p.m..

The morning was quite blissful, with the outside view. We wanted to go back to the beach before the sun comes and shoot a reel that she had in mind, but our choreographer (daughter) and director (son) were not ready.

The director came in by the time we finalized the location and the choreographer joined as well. The reel is yet to be released, I will share once it comes out of the studio :). It took multiple shoots and then we headed for breakfast (included in price) as we had to check out of the hotel by 10 am.

Quite a lot of options to choose from, we enjoyed the breakfast and then checked out to drive to Daringibadi, which was my first experience of driving in a hilly road. Before leaving the place, we could not miss taking some more memories.

Next time, we will plan couple of days to this same place, the first day being prepared to enjoy some water sports at Tampara Lake, and then relax at Gopalpur. And take some more people with us - a group is always more fun.
