This Sunday we took a little trip to a place I've wanted to see for a long time, Peccioli, a place famous both as a sort of open-air museum both for its giants and for the prehistoric park.
We are located in the Valdera area, in the Pisa area and the most particular and typical part of Peccioli, funny to say is its landfill. Which has been transformed into something special, in a land of giants, beautiful and imposing statues and installations in the middle of the greenery.
The giants symbolize the rebirth of waste and the strength of reuse and recycling, it is no coincidence that in Peccioli rubbish becomes art and artistic installations proliferate, attracting people from all over the world. But Peccioli is also a pretty village with churches and small churches set in the Tuscan countryside, a fairly inhabited and quick village to visit, easily reachable in aid, and which if you climb a bit on the nearby hills you can admire the typically Tuscan panorama that surrounds it .
Peccioli mix art, modern architectures to an old village style, like a bridge between the old and the new. And there is really a modern bridge made by the architect Buttafuoco that connects the new part with the old one passing through this colorful and fascinating bridge, the right combination of modern and particular. The
The bridge title it's endless sunset because when you enter in it you see the waves of the sunset colours, it's like a sunset tunnel really charming.
I really enjoyed my visit to Peccioli and I wasn't disappointed I only missed the prehistorical park because I don't have enough time , so I will be visit it nex time because I'm sure I will come back to Peccioli soon .
