White Rock - Spring Mountain Conservation Estate 35 minutes drive west from Brisbane. The traditional owners call it Nugum/Boogun meaning (White Rock). It not brilliant white but there are some white strips to it.

They have a yellow gate at the start just like the Barkley Marathons at frozen head state park. A good ultra running documentary on Netflix’s for those that are interested.

First stop was Little White Rock just to get warmed up.

Only a few hundred metres into the hike but the sun was rising fast and was starting to get hot.

There was an interesting over hang and some nice colours at little white rock.

It is a bit confusing and unclear. Your not supposed to climb the White Rock which we did not but we did just followed a well marked path along a ridge trail which took us to the top.

Lots of small fury caterpillars making up a long trail. it looked like they were on the move maybe to find food or water.

Some nice Natural Australian bush close to town that was not over run with weeds, always great to see and enjoy.
