En busca de un restaurante con concepto italiano, encontr茅 hace un par de semanas Capri Ristorante. 脡ste nuevo restaurante se encuentra en la planta baja del Centro Comercial Ciudad Paris, ubicado en la Avenida Los Leones, entre Avenida Bol铆var y Avenida Los Comuneros del este de la Ciudad de Barquisimeto. Es un nuevo establecimiento con un concepto espectacular y atractivo.
Mi primera impresi贸n al llegar, luego de efectuar algunos tr谩mites en el Centro Comercial Sambil, fue que, en la recepci贸n, no estaban muy atentos a las personas que entraban. Yo pas茅 como si nada, junto a mi hermano al interior del restaurante. Me impresion贸 el color azul, me record贸 a la ic贸nica ciudad de Santorini.
驴Puede ir todo el mundo? Mi percepci贸n es s铆. Sin embargo, es un lugar frecuentado por la clase media de la ciudad de Barquisimeto. La comida posee un alto precio, pero lo vale. Cuando digo que lo vale es por la calidad de servicio, la atenci贸n, las bebidas y la comida. El Id de su instagram es capriristorante_.
Recapitulando, a mi primera impresi贸n, 茅sta fue cambiada r谩pidamente gracias a una mesera atenta y muy educada. Ella me pregunt贸 qu茅 mesa busc谩bamos. Evidentemente, era una para dos. Mi hermano menor y yo. Al fin y al cabo, ella nos redirigi贸 a otro mesero que nos atendi贸 muy amablemente en una mesa para cuatro personas.
Aspecto importante: las mesas son muy peque帽as. Yo mido m谩s de 1.87 cm, por ende, me gusta el espacio, y cuando se trata de comer, me gusta hacerlo c贸modamente. Por eso, nos quedamos en 茅sa mesa que era m谩s espaciosa.
En la entrada destacaban unos asientos de color azul con un grabado del Banco Bancamiga, detr谩s de ellos. No s茅 por qu茅 estaba all铆, en fin, no quise centrar 茅se aspecto en la fotograf铆a. Otra caracter铆stica llamativa es que desde lejos se visualiza el logo de Capri Ristorante. Ya por si s贸lo sabes que 茅ste restaurante est谩 ah铆.
El mesero me indic贸 que no trabajaban con men煤 f铆sico por los momentos, pero s铆 con uno virtual. Escane茅 el c贸digo QR en una especie de servilleta de papel en la mesa y me redirigi贸 a un PDF en Google Drive, que descargu茅. De la entrada me llam贸 la atenci贸n el Carpaccio de Lomito. Mi hermano orden贸 Croquetas de Salm贸n, pero lamentablemente el mesero con posterioridad nos dijo que se les hab铆a acabado el Salm贸n. Por ende, nos pidi贸 disculpas. Mi hermano pidi贸 el mismo plato de entrada que yo: Carpaccio de Lomito. 脡ste plato, seg煤n el men煤, costaba 14 USDT, HBD o d贸lares americanos.
Como plato principal me dej茅 llevar por lo que pidi贸 mi hermano. Algo que no suele ocurrir. Ambos ordenamos como plato principal Ravioli Verdi. 驴Buena opci贸n? Lo cuento m谩s adelante. 脡ste plato tambi茅n ten铆a el valor de 14 USDT, HBD o d贸lares americanos.
La duda del mill贸n era lo que pedir铆amos de tomar, quer铆amos una bebida que tuviera Ginebra y hierbabuena. Mi hermano tambi茅n es barman, y sabe de alcohol. La bebida que nos ofrecieron inicialmente, era con estos ingredientes (no recuerdo el nombre). El mesero nuevamente se disculp贸 con nosotros debido a que se les culmin贸 la hierbabuena. El mesero nos recomend贸 pedir un c贸ctel llamado Bahia di Ravello. No prest茅 mucha atenci贸n en la explicaci贸n de la bebida. En 茅se momento me toc贸 atender a alguien telef贸nicamente. En raz贸n de esto, s贸lo explicar茅 el sabor m谩s adelante. El precio de la Bahia di Ravello era de 5 USDT, HBD o d贸lares americanos.
El plato de entrada tard贸 aproximadamente 10 minutos para ser servido. Antes de esto el mesero nos sirvi贸 en nuestra mesa unas rodajas de pan con una especie de salsa a base de aceite de oliva, or茅gano y alg煤n tipo de vinagre. Esto fue por cortes铆a de la casa.
Inmediatamente, que el mesero coloc贸 las rodajas de pan, sirvi贸 los dos platos de entrada; es decir, los dos Carpaccio de Lomito. Qued茅 impresionado por el tama帽o del plato, era demasiado para considerarse una entrada.
De 茅ste plato debo destacar, que el mesero nos pregunt贸 si dese谩bamos que le colocara pimienta y aceite de oliva. Evidentemente, ped铆 ambos. En 茅se momento me apen茅 un poco porque alguien me hab铆a llamado nuevamente.
El Carpaccio de Lomito ven铆a acompa帽ado de L谩minas de Lomito; 茅stas se encontraban decoradas en la base de todo el plato. Adem谩s, ten铆a r煤gula, tomates secos, grisin y unas delicadas l谩minas de parmesano. Tengo que ser totalmente preciso, 茅ste platillo fue delicioso. La sutileza de la decoraci贸n y el maravilloso sabor fue algo que te llevaba a sentir la pasi贸n con la que fue elaborado.
Mientras degustaba el Carpaccio de Lomito, el mesero nos sirvi贸 el plato principal. Termin茅 mi plato de entrada y proced铆 a probar el Ravioli Verdi.
Ciertamente, el Ravioli Verdi estaba preparado con espinacas, salsa blanca abundante y fue decorado con almendras tostadas y tomates concasse. Algo peculiar de 茅ste platillo es que la salsa blanca estaba aromatizada con eneldo.
驴Bueno o malo? El Ravioli estaba hecho con sutileza, la decoraci贸n del plato fue elegante y potencial. En t茅rminos generales, se ve铆a apetitoso y llamativo.
Lo que no me gust贸 del Ravioli Verdi fue el sabor de la salsa blanca. Se sent铆a mucho el gustillo a harina. 脡se aspecto hac铆a que el paladar se empalagara, pero fue un detalle m铆nimo que desequilibr贸 el sabor del plato. Por 茅ste aspecto, tanto mi hermano, como yo, s贸lo pudimos comer la mitad del platillo.
En el caso del C贸ctel Bahia di Ravello estaba exquisito. Es un c贸ctel fuerte, pero con un sabor sutil que es perfecto para desguatar estos dos platillos. Fue un total acierto la recomendaci贸n del mesero.
La atenci贸n fue amena, me sent铆 en casa y qued茅 maravillado. Tanto as铆 que deseo volver para probar sus Langostinos o Lomito. Tambi茅n alg煤n postre, ser铆a perfecto. Qued茅 con las ganas de probar su Panacotta.
La cuenta fue de 62.02 USDT, HBD o d贸lares americanos que pagu茅 en moneda de curso legal. Claro, tambi茅n dej茅 la respectiva propina por el c谩lido servicio. Recomiendo ir a visitar Capri Ristorante, quedar谩s encantado de su sabor, servicio y la identidad de su marca.

Looking for a restaurant with an Italian concept, I found Capri Ristorante a couple of weeks ago. This new restaurant is on the first floor of the Paris City Shopping Centre, located on Avenida Los Leones, between Avenida Bolivar and Avenida The Comuneros in the east of the city of Barquisimeto. It is a new establishment with a spectacular and attractive concept.
My first impression when I arrived, after completing some formalities at the Sambil Shopping Centre, was that the reception was not very attentive to people entering. I walked through the restaurant with my brother as if nothing had happened. I was impressed by the blue color, it reminded me of the iconic city of Santorini.
Can everyone go? My perception is yes. However, it is a place frequented by the middle class in the city of Barquisimeto. The food has a high price, but it is worth it. When I say it's worth it, it's because of the quality of the service, the attention, the drinks and the food. His instagram id is capriristorante_.
To recap, my first impression was quickly changed thanks to an attentive and very polite waitress. She asked me which table we were looking for. Evidently, it was one for two. My younger brother and me. After all, she redirected us to another waiter, who very kindly served us at a table for four.
Important aspect: the tables are very small. I am over 1.87 cm tall, so I like space, and when it comes to eating, I like to eat comfortably. That's why we stayed at that table, which was more spacious.
At the entrance, there were some blue seats with an engraving of Bank Bancamiga behind them. I don't know why it was there; anyway, I didn't want to focus on that aspect of the photograph. Another striking feature is that, from a distance, you can see the logo of Capri Ristorante. You already know that this restaurant is there.
The waiter told me that they don't have a physical menu at the moment, but they do have a virtual one. I scanned the QR code on a sort of paper napkin on the table, and it redirected me to a PDF on Google Drive, which I downloaded. Here are some screenshots of the menu for viewing.
From the start, the Tenderloin Carpaccio caught my eye. My brother ordered Salmon Croquettes, but unfortunately, the waiter later told us that they were out of Salmon. He therefore apologized to us. My brother ordered the same starter as I did: Tenderloin Carpaccio, which, according to the menu, cost 14 USDT, HBD or US dollars.
For the main course, I went with what my brother ordered. Something that doesn't usually happen. We both ordered Ravioli Verdi as the main course. Good choice? I'll tell you more about it later. This dish was also worth 14 USDT, HBD or US dollars.
The million-dollar question was what we would order drinking; we wanted a drink that had gin and Spearmint in it. My brother is also a bartender, and he knows about alcohol. The drink we were initially offered was made with these ingredients (I don't remember the name). The waiter again apologized to us because they ran out of Spearmint. I liked the sincerity, but above all the cordiality and the word apology. I would like to emphasize that aspect.
The waiter recommended that we order a cocktail called Bahia di Ravello. I didn't pay much attention to the explanation of the drink. At that moment, I had to attend to someone on the phone. Because of this, I will only explain the taste later. The price of the Bahia di Ravello was 5 USDT, HBD or US dollars.
The starter took about 10 minutes to be served. Before this the waiter served us at our table some slices of bread with a kind of sauce based on olive oil, oregano and some kind of vinegar. This was on the house.
Immediately after the waiter placed the slices of bread, he served the two starter plates, i.e. the two Carpaccio de Lomito. I was impressed by the size of the plate; it was too big to be considered a starter.
Of this dish, I must point out that the waiter asked us if we wanted pepper and olive oil. Obviously, I asked for both. At that point I was a little embarrassed because someone had called me back.
The Tenderloin Carpaccio was accompanied by Tenderloin Slices; these were decorated at the base of the whole plate. In addition, it had arugula, sundries tomatoes, breadsticks and delicate Parmesan slices. I have to be totally accurate; this dish was delicious. The subtlety of the decoration and the wonderful taste were things that made you feel the passion with which it was made.
While I was tasting the Tenderloin Carpaccio, the waiter served us the main course. I finished my starter and proceeded to try the Ravioli Verdi.
Indeed, the Ravioli Verdi was prepared with spinach, a hearty white sauce, and was garnished with toasted almonds and tomato concasse. Something peculiar about this dish is that the white sauce was flavored with dill.
Good or bad? The Ravioli was made with subtlety, and the decoration of the dish was elegant and potential. Overall, it looked appetizing and eye-catching.
What I didn't like about the Ravioli Verdi was the taste of the white sauce. There was too much of a floury aftertaste. This aspect made the palate cloying, but it was a minor detail that unbalanced the flavor of the dish. Because of this aspect, both my brother and I could only eat half of the dish.
In the case of the Cocktail Bahia di Ravello, it was exquisite. It is a strong cocktail with a subtle flavor that is perfect to wash down these two dishes. The waiter's recommendation was a complete success.
The service was friendly; I felt at home, and I was amazed. So much so that I want to come back to try their Langostinos or Tenderloin. Also, some dessert would be perfect. I was left with the desire to try their Panacotta.
The bill was 62.02 USDT, HBD or US dollars, which I paid in legal tender. Of course, I also left a tip for the warm service. I recommend going to visit Capri Ristorante, you will be delighted with the taste, service and brand identity.
