It was late afternoon when we visited Anoi Itam Beach, Sabang, Aceh, Indonesia. Perhaps this is also why this beach does not look so crowded than some of the previous beach, only visible few visitors who looked like a family entourage. The beach is about 13 kilometers from the city center. To reach this beach you have to use a motor or private car or taxi with travel time approximately 30 minutes. The condition of the road to this place was relatively good although there are still some obstacles such as holes or damaged road sections. Concerns about the quality of mobile phone signal had emerged during the trip to Anoi Itam Beach, but so until the signal quality location was back to normal. ๐Ÿ™‚

This beach is the only black sand beach in Sabang City, maybe even in the entire province of Aceh. It is said that the sand on this beach contains nickel which weighs 3 times that of the other black sand. If you set your bare feet on this beach, it will be felt that the sand on this beach is bigger than sand on other beaches, maybe more like black peppercorn. For those of you who think that white and soft-textured beach is a beautiful beach definition, you may be wrong, like us. This exoticism owned by the beach, in our opinion, is not owned by other beaches in Indonesia, maybe even in the world. The black sand, big, but not rough, the turquoise sea, the waves are quite large, and the surrounding hills, really amazing.

The view of Anoi Itam Beach will be more beautiful if you see it from the Japanese bunker located not far from the beach. From the top of the bunker, you can also see the extent of the ocean decorated with gradations of a very beautiful turquoise blue color. In addition, you can also see the expanse of sea and Mount Seulawah. However, you need to know, you must be careful if you want to play water here because the waves are big enough and there are many sharp rocks.
