Spend a day immersed in a nature during this tour from Sylhet to Jaflong. Collection of stones that have made their way down from the Himalayas and local tea gardens in Jaflong. Seeing many fountains together was a mesmerizing sight though I saw it from afar.

Jaflong is one of the most attracive tourist spots in Sylhet, Bangladesh. It is located in Gowainghat upoazila of Sylhet district and situated at the border between Bangladesh and the state of Meghalaya.

It's about 60 km far from Sylhet town and takes two hours drive to reach.

Jalong is totally a hilly area of real natural beauty where hills are greenish with the forest.

A big hanging rock
A big hanging rock

We actually were in a boat an suddenly noticed a huge rock in hanging position. We were more curious about the huge hanging rock. This big rock looked like it could fall from mountain at any moment.

The heap of stones laid in layers on the bank of the piyain river has made Jaflong more attractive. Because of the hanging bridge over the Dawki. Transparent and cold water of the river, high hills, deep forest and pin drop silence of the neighbourhood irresistibility attracts tourist from home and abroad.

Shongrampunji waterfall
Shongrampunji waterfall

Most curious attraction was mine " Shongrampunji waterfall" because this is the main attraction of Jaflong. This is the big waterfall in Bangladesh. Shongrampunji waterfalls is located on the boarder of India. It takes only 20 minute from the Jaflong Zero point to go to the waterfall.

Songrampunji is also known as the Mayabi waterfall. As I was there in the rainy season so I enjoyed the waterfall is full of water. The waterfall has three steps and there is a tunnel in the third step of the waterfall and the end of the tunnel is still unknown.

That was full of mesmerising day I spend there. Such a warming place.

Stay safe & sound.

Thanks everyone.🙂
