One of the villagers said that Tudugala Falls is a beautiful sight as Tudugala Falls which flows down the river with a big waterfall during rainy days.
This beautiful waterfall is about 10 meters high and is located in the village of Tudugala, near Dodangoda in the Kalutara district. Among the waterfalls in the Kalutara district is the Tudugala Falls which is close to the black river. Located in a small mountain range in Tudugala Reserve. The waterfall has a rich biodiversity ecosystem. The Tudugala Falls estate is a British estate owned by the British and covers over 400 acres.

At present a part of this estate is cultivated with coconut. This waterfall was formerly known as 'Up Falls'. The reason is that this falls is two storeyed. Called the downstairs and upstairs. The basement is about 8 meters high. The second floor is about 6 meters high. To get to the second floor, you have to cross the first floor.
This beautiful falls is facing a tragic fate. In the face of rapid evacuation, the flow of water is diminishing, and the beautiful watercolor is being subjected to mass pollution from the hands of tourists. Tudugala Falls is threatened. Water sources in the catchment areas that fed the Tudugala Falls have begun to fall. Because of the high mountain tops, thorny coconut plantations in catchment areas have increased this threat. Think for a moment.
