If I have to describe Iceland with one word, it should be "different". If I am allowed to use more words, then I would add much more adjectives like "magical", "stunning", "contrasty", "colorful", "scenery", "picturesque", etc. You got the idea.
But generally, as a photographer, there are two types of travel photo destinations for me, places where I go, photograph and put a check mark in my list and places, where I want to return. At a different time, different season, with other people. Iceland is of the second type. I visited it in the summer and I would love to be there at the winter. The naked beauty of the white snow covered vastness...
This place in the photo is called "Solheimasandur Plane Wreck", to go there one has to walk about an hour on a path in a rocky desert. Totally worthy, though, wouldn't you agree? ;)
