About my trip to the Marble Mountains in Da Nang, I ended up last post.
And now, for those who love about food, and who love to eat meat, the story of how we went to a Korean barbecue restaurant on the last day of our stay in Da Nang.
It can be called differently: a Korean barbecue, a Korean restaurant, a restaurant where meat is fried on a table, a restaurant where you yourself grill meat, etc.
But the essence of such restaurants is usually the same: special tables with a special stove, the ability to pay for unlimited, which usually includes a buffet of those dishes that go well with meat, and, most importantly - very tasty.
This is what it looks like.
I’ll tell you in more detail, maybe someone has never been to such an institution, never seen, or seen, but didn’t enter, didn’t try, maybe didn’t understand how they cook there, and was ashamed to stop by.
So here. Those who love meat - be sure to check out if possible.
This was the first time I visited such a restaurant in China, in Shenzhen, in 2007. We just went to a Korean restaurant and got here to have such a barbecue. It was very tasty, but small and expensive, even by the standards of 2007.
And in Vietnam in 2019 there were only a lot and cheaply.
So, about the Korean restaurant in Da Nang. They call it a grill pub. Well, let it be a grill pub.
We were here in this restaurant, this is the menu.
We noticed this restaurant on the first day of walking along Da Nang. They just noticed that there is such a restaurant, not far from our hotel, and mentally made a "bookmark" to go into it, if there is time and desire.
As you can already see in the window and on the menu, an unlimited visit costs 239,000 Vietnamese dongs. This is less than 11 US dollars. :)))
This amount includes unlimited eating meat, soft drinks, a small buffet, ice cream.
But for beer and alcoholic drinks you have to pay separately.
At the bottom of the post, in the video, you can see an overview of the restaurant.
The restaurant is not very big, but cozy.
All tables are equipped with special tiles and special hoods above them. Hoods are at the top, above the tables, and go down only when cooking meat. If visitors simply eat and do not cook anything, the hood is removed again up.
The menu is in two versions: an unlimited buffet for 239,000 dong, and a buffet, apparently with a limited selection, cheaper, for only 199,000 dong.
In general, in Vietnam everyone can feel like a millionaire. They have such a rate against the dollar that, with any balance check on your card, you will probably have millions of dongs on the card. :)))
As you can see, there are tables for two, there are tables for four, in the center or near the window.
Beer assortment for beer lovers. Of course, beer is attached to a wonderful tasty meat.
And here is such a very small buffet in the center of the restaurant.
The girl-waiter rolled to the table, at which we were seated, the first portion of meat and began to fry.
She turned on the stove, pulled the hood, laid out the meat, and began to cook it herself.
While the girl brought everything and started to fry, we scooped up potatoes in a buffet of greens, hot Korean carrots, seaweed, hot pepper, soup with egg and seaweed, in the style of the Japanese, took a drink and were satisfied with what we got.
Of course, various sauces in assortment could be applied to small bowls.
A few words about this type of tile.
Do not pay attention to the dark circle in the photo, this is the shadow of the hood hanging directly above the tile.
Korean barbecue pan.
This is a very interesting device with which Koreans prepare various barbecue dishes. It is a convex pan, in which the domed center is slightly raised up, which allows, during frying, to drain down the fat that is melted from the meat.
Along the edge of the pan around the circumference is equipped with slots through which the fat, draining, enters the pan. This pan is also called closed grill. It can be used instead of the grill during lunch by putting it on a portable stove (even electric, gas) directly on the dining table.
And in this restaurant-pub, the stove was even more interesting. If you pay attention, then in a circle of grilling meat there is a space that is divided into 3 parts. We had scrambled eggs and boiled corn there.
They fried different meat for us four times, then stopped. We ate everything in plates and thought that we were not full. :)))
They called a girl and asked what else can we try?
She offered us something on the menu, we did not understand that.
After about 10 minutes a girl comes, picks up the top of the stove and brings a huge pot of soup.
In the soup cabbage, mushrooms, vermicelli, carrots, hot pepper and meat .....
And then we not only ate, but already ate too. The soup was quite edible.
And everything in this restaurant was very tasty !!!
I already want to eat!
I finish this post at 2 a.m., and the further I write, the more I want to eat.
I hope you have an appetite too when reading this.
And some short videos from the restaurant.
This is a short video review of the restaurant with my voice acting.
In the next two videos, the waiter girl cooks meat right on our table. I look and I feel the taste and smell of the grill. :)))
Be sure to try if you see such a restaurant.
To be continued....
