Hello everyone!!! Thanks for stopping by my blog and coming to visit. I want to start this post with a question: have you ever laughed out loud when going for a coffee with friends? If the answer is yes, I wouldn't be surprised, because coffee has that touch to create pleasant atmospheres and joyful memories. And in my case, to that you must add that I usually have a laugh that is not at all discreet, not to say that it is loud hahaha.
That's what happened to me recently when I went for a coffee with Juank, one of my best friends. We had been catching up for some time. And Juank is one of those "cactus" friends, who doesn't need to be watered every day, yet our friendship, despite the distance and the passage of time, remains intact. A cup of coffee is enough to revive and create so many good moments together. I have shared with him a great part of transcendental events in my life and also in his.
We went to a cafeteria that is very close to my house, in Almendares Park. The truth is that there are many outlets there, of all kinds of food, and it is usually quite lively. But the day we went there it was very quiet, and there were not many people.
We ordered two "cortaditos" (that's how we call espresso with a little bit of milk in Cuba) in a small cafeteria with a guano roof. It was a very warm and pleasant place. And so we began to talk with that complicity that characterizes us good friends. And between a good coffee and the pleasant conversation, we were so uninhibited that many laughs escaped us. The good thing is that since there weren't many people around that day, we didn't bother anyone.
And there was not only a lack of endorphins that afternoon, but also a lot of adrenaline. Juank, to please me, took me on his motorcycle to go back home. And it was purely on a whim of mine, because Almendares Park is right next to my house. But I love the feeling of riding a combustion motorcycle.
And you... When was your last laugh accompanied by a good coffee? A big hug to all of you. Thanks for reading me!
