I had given a promise.
To be at that specific point, on that specific day.
Why?
To see how and when the sun sets.
Exactly!
And the reason why?
Read on!

A good friend of mine is getting married next year!
And she has chosen the place, as well as the date.

She is very thoughtful and well planned so she needs to have everything under control. Even when it comes to the sun, so that she can see when she can have the wedding photos!

So after we discussed a bit, we came up with this idea!

Someone should be there on that day, one year in advance - and check out the times and the sun!

And of course she asked 3 of her friends to help out!

We parked the car at 8:17 pm

And these photos were taken at 8:18 - 8:19

This spot you see there is the entrance of the beautiful church, Saint Constantine.

We were lucky as there was another wedding just starting!

We climbed that hill and these are some of the images of the sun setting and the tamarisk trees

image00017.jpeg

I was mesmerized, as with every sunset and I was shooting all the time!

image00019.jpeg

And more.. The drops from the tamarisk trees were beautiful to see upclose.

There were many people taking selfies and photos

Maybe someone was taking a photo of me taking a photo of them, taking a photo of the sunset? I dont know!

The sun dipped into the horizon at 8:36

And the wedding was not over, so the couple definitely did not have the time to take sunset photos.

I wanted to check the colors after sunset on the eastern side. They were bit of purple and pink.

And we took the way back home!

It felt nice to be at this place.

Before I left, these are the last photos I took.
