The Balta Pedagogical School deserves special attention. Despite its relatively small history, the Pedagogical School has something to say about the city itself and the development of the whole city.
The main building was built in the second half of the XVIII by the princes of Lubomir.
The whole history of this educational institution can be divided into two parts.
- From 01.10.1930 to 20.07.1941 years.
- From 20.06.1944 to the present day.
In this case, the history of the school can be divided into three parts, according to other criteria. In particular, by name.
- From 1930 to 1938 years. - Pedagogical College.
- From 1938 to 1944 years. - Pedagogical school.
- Since 1944 to this day - the Pedagogical School.
We take as a basis the first periodization.
Period One
Peduculish until 1933
Since its inception, on September 1, 1930, there have been 3 parallel groups. The first two years the technical school worked in the Pedagogical System. But in 1932 he disconnected from the plant, and the new academic year spent as a separate educational unit. Simultaneously with the disconnection, the technical school is transferred to the building of a male gymnasium located along Shevchenko Street.
In 1933 the pedagogical college graduated its first graduates. The first director, which is Art. worked since the opening of the release of the first young teachers, was Zaporozhets SG. Deputy for educational work was Gladkikh M.K.
Two academic years in a row, beginning in 1933 - ending in 1935, the educational process was held in the premises of the former administrative building of the Balt City Council.
In the period from 1933 to 1934. (the period of one academic year) the leaders of this educational institution were: first Gladkikh, and then - Zaiman.
Pedagogical school before the start of the Second World War
From 1934 to 1935 the technical school was headed by Berdichevsky. His deputy was Kruglyak.
In 1935, the pedagogical school received two buildings that belonged to the construction technical school. The important thing is that the transfer was as complete as possible. That is, the pedagogical school received not only the buildings themselves, but all the inventory that belonged to the construction technical school. In addition, the technical school was given 10 houses for dormitory and dining.
In 1937, a separate department with a two-year education was opened in the pedagogical training center, where working teachers were trained, who did not have the appropriate education. Unfortunately, it was possible to give the necessary knowledge only to one issue.
This period can be characterized as a regular change of teaching staff. Here practically nobody worked more than two-three years. It is important that this applies not only to teachers, but also to the heads of the technical school. A similar situation was characteristic of the whole history, the existence of a pedagogical technical school.
In 1937, the director became Kakhno Ya.S. With his arrival, the situation with the teaching staff begins to stabilize. Many worked until 1941. That is, before the Great Patriotic War. Many of these teachers will join the ranks of the armed forces of our country, and they will defend our Motherland from the fascist invaders.
Practically from the very beginning of the pedagogical school to 41 years, various art circles were founded and operated on its basis. The students created a choir, a drama club and a brass band. They often performed in the sponsored village of Karmalyukovka. There they gave concerts, put on plays and conducted other mass political events. The brass band was directed by the bandmaster of Gilzburg. He was a real professional in his field, who for more than 15 years was leading a military battalion with a brass band.
In addition, the students of the pedagogical school often performed in the Central Park and the Balta House of Culture. By the way, it is worth noting also the orchestra of folk instruments, which was headed by Chekhovsky. A dramatic circle was led by the head of the medical school, Zaitsev.
In 1939, Western territory was annexed to the territory of Ukraine. In this regard, the government of the country has applied to all schools of Ukraine, seconded to Western Ukraine teachers of all fields of knowledge. The Balta Pedagogical School was offered to send students 3 courses. The school management fulfilled the request of the regional leadership, and sent students to work in Western Ukraine. All these pupils of the school received their education and diplomas. The last few months they were trained in absentia.
In 1940 the Moldavian SSR was established. In this connection, the Moldavian pedagogical school was transferred to Tiraspol. Accordingly, all the buildings of this technical school were transferred to the management of the Baltic Pedagogical School.
Almost a whole year everyone was happy. This is due to the fact that now they can learn and work in comfortable conditions. At the same time, they felt support from the city authorities. What could not but rejoice.
This euphoria was interrupted cruelly. June 22, 1941, it was announced the sudden attack of fascist Germany on our homeland. As you understand, students and faculty could not stay away from this terrible tragedy. So, suddenly, because of the tragic events, the history of the pedagogical school of Balta was interrupted.
