Hello my friends of this great "StreetArtCommunity": It's always a great pleasure to find people who love "StreetArt": and the photos I share of the ¨murales¨:  that we have in our streets. Corrientes, in recent decades, has been an inspiration for many artists to exhibit their works in "Open Air", a beautiful way to beautify those abandoned spaces that give the city a bad appearance.

Los correntinos amamos a nuestra ciudad, y nos encanta contribuir para que las calles siempre se vean bien, así es como ha nacido este ¨movimiento¨¨artístico¨ para embellecer los espacios libres, paredones o frentes en mal estado que requieren una restauración. Es impresionante salir a caminar por las calles céntricas y descubrir nuevos espacios cubierto y embellecidos por nuevas ¨obras¨ de ¨arte¨

We Correntinos love our city, and we love to contribute to making sure the streets always look good. That's how this "artistic" movement was born to beautify open spaces, walls, or facades in poor condition that require restoration. It's impressive to walk through the city center and discover new spaces covered and beautified by new "works" of "art."

Lo que admiro de esta expresión cultural, es que aprovechan el ¨arte¨ para promover lo nuestro, las cosas sencillas, lo cotidiano, lo que al verlos sabes que nos están representando, y si hay algo que representa a las personas de aquí es la ¨siesta¨: , esto no quiere decir que a los que vivimos aquí nos encanta dormir, lo que sucede aquí es que las tardes de ¨veranos¨ pueden ser muy intenso, el calor de estas horas suelen ser insoportables, es la razón de que las personas aprovechen para descansar en este horario de ¨siesta¨

What I admire about this cultural expression is that they use "art" to promote our culture, the simple things, the everyday, things that when you see them you know are representing us, and if there's one thing that represents the people here, it's the "siesta":.
