Hello everyone.
Hope everyone is doing great!
This blog is gonna about my trekking experience to the highest peak of Mussoorie, which is Lal Tibba. It means Red Hills in English and let me tell you that it has never failed to amaze anyone.
It is situated at the top of Depot hill in Landour, which provides breathtaking of the Himalayas.
As soon as I woke up I decided to go for a kilometres long trek to Lal Tibba as it has excited me in numerous magical ways. I have heard people sayings about the view from there and obviously about the sunrise and sunset. Without wasting much time I got dressed and l have a look outside. Mesmerizing isn't it?
The blue sky whith morning rays, a perfect day for trekking and to unwind myself.
If you are a trekker by heart then you already knew, if the trail is beautiful you don't worry to reach the destination. Same thing happened with me here, I got lost in the beauty of nature, these deodar tree have some specific scent in them, if you know you know, it kindda helped me to relax while walking.
Its among one of the main reason why I love to walk between nature. These long trees are provider, provider of life, food, shelter.
Suddenly I noticed a dramatic shift, the sunlight started to fade and I have entered a deep zone, shaddy. It was the steep part of the trek and I have to climb upwards. I accepted the chalenge but more then chalenge its something I enjoy the most.
You all know Ruskin Bind right? Well he also live here at Lal Tibba in a tiny house, actually manu famous personality own properties here. That's why its among the one of the famous tourist spot.
On my way I met this cute creature, and if you can't love him then I'm sorry, we can't be friends.
I named him "Jules" and we became friends and he followed me, amm I mean I followed him.
And I guess people here loves paintings, I found huge paintings covering the walls and they were too good. Artists are really hard worker and I respect them. The slogans written on them are quite helpful in spreading awareness.
Finally we reached Lal Tibba and this wasbthe view in front of me and there was a cafe in front of me named " Lal Tibba Binocular Cafe". Well well well, Binoculars? As soon as I heard the word Binoculars I decided to hop in the cafe asap.
Before entering the cafeteria, I met another beautiful creature, A Horse!
Last time I saw horse was in January 2024 at Shimla during new years. If you have ever visited Shimla then I'm sure that you hace aldo seen them. I love them. Do let me know in comment about the breed you like the most.
The Cafe
Loaded with homemade pickles, jams, organic pulses, knitted socks and what not, this cafe has lot to offer.
I brought this package of pulses and they are called Rahma locally. On spot I was taught how to prepare them by the seller. And then comes the most exciting part The Binoculars. I coud'nt control my excitement and ran to see them and see through them.
I found these cuties looking at the peaks through binocular but they were unable to see, lack of focus guys. Finally I got to see through them, the peaks were looking surreal. I was unable to click pictures through it, but what i have to show you is not less interesting.
The view
The wait was finally over guys, everyone there was mesmerized bybthe beauty of the Himalayas, Badrinath and Kedarnath was visible too. It was a government approval telescope and thabk God it was a clear day and I was able to see the peaks clearly. Also lost of people were enjoying thevfood there with the view, here's a glimpse.
Also I found that " पाहद क़े बीच वला घर " iykyk.
And here and some pictures if me too, in case you missed me. I don't know if there's any another way to perfectly start your day especially when you are in Himalayas. Hope you enjoyed.
