Before talking about the situation in Italy, I wanted to show you some photographs that I took just before some episodes of corona virus broke out. In fact, unfortunately, we Italians have this sad European record. Already at the end of February the situation was presented as serious and therefore in a state of general crisis. Within a few days, red areas were highlighted, especially in Lombardy. Codogno was the first city to be closed and quarantined. At the end of February all schools are closed in northern Italy and the measure will be extended to all of Italy on March 5. On March 10, given the strong increase in infections, restrictions increase and Italy becomes a single red zone. The week of March 8 to March 15 was the one in which the peak of infection occurred, yesterday we reached more than 20,000. I do not report other data regarding deaths, recovered or asymptomatic. The fact is that the situation is dramatic. I myself was notified of home quarantine yesterday because one of my students was infected. It's only a precautionary way because I haven't seen this person since March 3rd, but understand the panic generated in me. Mine, our life, that of the Italians has totally changed! We are barricaded in the house, for example if I go out I am criminally punishable, fortunately that from Thursday 19 I will return to being free ... so to speak! The restrictive rules remain and remain until a later date. No walk, no meetings with friends, unthinkable to travel, we can only go out in strictly necessary cases such as shopping, going to the pharmacy, or for medical visits! In short, we are under house arrest. But mine is a great people, go and have a look on YouTube at all the flash mob that we have created, from North to South we have tried to make a cord of solidarity and even if we are nervous and terrified, as we fight against an invisible enemy , we do not Surrend. When all this nightmare ends I will travel a lot in Italy, which is always done, because our economy will have to recover and I invite all those who will have the pleasure of reading this post to come to Italy a country where hugs are not lacking, even virtual ones like these .

Prima di parlare della situazione in Italia ho voluto mostrarvi delle fotografie che ho scattato proprio io prima che scoppiassero alcuni episodi di corona virus.
Infatti, purtroppo, noi italiani abbiamo questo triste primato europeo. Già a fine febbraio la situazione è stata presentata come grave e quindi in uno stato di crisi generale. Nel giro di pochi giorni sono state evidenziate delle zone rosse, in special modo in Lombardia. Codogno è stata la prima città ad essere stata chiusa ed ad essere messa in quarantena. Alla fine di febbraio nel nord Italia vengono chiuse tutte le scuole e il provvedimento verrà esteso a tutta Italia il 5 marzo. Il 10 marzo, dato il forte incremento di contagi aumentano le restrizioni e tutta l'Italia diventa un'unica zona rossa. La settimana dall'8 marzo al
15 marzo è stata quella in cui si è verificato il picco di contagi, nella giornata di ieri siamo arrivati oltre i 20000. Non riporto altri dati in merito a decessi, guariti o asintomatici. Sta di fatto che la situazione è drammatica. Io stessa nella giornata di ieri ho avuto notifica di quarantena domiciliare perché una mia alunna è risultata infetta. È solo una via precauzionale perché non vedo questa persona dal 3 marzo, capite però il panico generato in me. La mia, la nostra vita, quella degli italiani è totalmente cambiata! Siamo barricati in casa, io per esempio se esco sono perseguibile penalmente, fortunatamente che da giovedì 19 ritornerò ad essere libera...per modo di dire! La norme restrittive rimangono e permangono fino a data da destinarsi. Niente passeggiata, niente incontri con amici, impensabile viaggiare, possiamo uscire solo in casi strettamente necessari come fare la spesa, andare in farmacia, o per visite mediche! Insomma siamo agli arresti domiciliari. Però il mio è un grande popolo, andate a dare uno sguardo su YouTube a tutti i flash mob che abbiamo creato, da Nord a Sud abbiamo cercato di fare un cordone di solidarietà e anche se siamo nervosi e atterriti, in quanto combattiamo contro un nemico invisibile, non ci arrendiamo.
Quando tutto questo incubo finirà viaggerò tanto in Italia, cosa sempre fatta, perché la nostra economia si dovrà risollevare e invito tutti coloro che avranno il piacere di leggere questo post di venire in Italia un paese in cui gli abbracci non mancano anche quelli virtuali come questi.
