I have always been fascinated by this building, in addition to its Art Nouveau design it had an interesting use in times past, It's impossible not to look at it when passing by it, at least for a few minutes people are perplexed when observing its grandeur and external beauty. That large tower and the mill stand out among other buildings from similar periods and even modern buildings.

It's a building that is closed, there is nothing in there that is for the public other than sporadic exhibitions so that they can learn about the infrastructure, the interior, details and history, always with a guide.

It was a confectionery that opened in 1916 and closed its doors in 1997, just over 80 years of activity and production of sweets, chocolates, giant Easter eggs, breads and more.

This is a tiny part of the front façade, efforts have always been made to preserve the structure of the building, I have seen and read about different maintenance that has been done to it, Every time something important happens in the country, the building is decorated with flags on the balconies and other surfaces.

It was declared a national historic monument in 1997.

I'm not sure if this is an architecture related article especially since I'm sure I've already shared this in the past, It also has a lot of the photographic aspect and how I tried to highlight the details of the building, windows, balconies, etc.

I invite you to zoom in on the images that you like the most, you can appreciate the small details, the golden tones, the shape of the balconies and the sculptures of the tower and other parts of the building.

The truth is that this guided tour is very rarely enabled to see its interior and every time I find out about it I have not been able to organize my time to gain access.

I am really passionate about this type of architectural designs and also others, but I am referring to the old, modern buildings are very flat, even boring.

So... This is a series a little different from what I usually do with street photography. Alternating the content or themes is not so bad, I think some people may be interested in these topics, don't you think?

If you liked something about this article, don't hesitate to leave me a comment about it :)
