These photos from Copenghagen were taken a few years ago. That was when I realized that Copenhagen has a large amount of wonderful street art. I was walking mainly in the districts called Vesterbro and Nørrebro. That's where I notized all of these works. Even Copenhagen might not be able to compete with Berlin, Valparaiso or New York, I think it is on it's way. Many of the wall paintings were huge murals painted on the end of walls. Some on power boxes and doors. Many interntional artists have been here.
This is a cabin in the district of Nørrebro which has got quite a colorful wall. It was located by a park, so I guess the cabin has something to do with the park.
The two districts differ when it comes to what characterizes them. This is reflected in the street art and graffiti you will find here. Nørrebro has a much larger amount of illegal graffiti than what Vesterbro has. Nørrebro is a more diverse coummunity with multi ethnic communities, students and lots of nightlife. The district is interesting to explore.
Nørrebro. The first one is saying «vi elsker Nørrebro» meaning «we love Nørrebro». The one above says «we stills hate dvertising». Two different districts worth checking out if you happen to be in Copenhagen.
