You Want to Revisit: is magic😱 [Eng/Esp]

Greetings travelers, how are you doing...

I'll start by saying that remembering is living; today I want to tell you about a place I've visited twice, but I hope to return this year when winter leaves my country.

The place I'm talking about is called the Viaduct, located about 2 hours from the city of Medellín. You can go to the town of Amaga and rent a jeep to take you to this magical place. Alternatively, you can do it like I did the first time when I went by bicycle and discovered this magical place, or like the second time when I went by motorcycle with my current partner. However, I suggest you get to the town and rent a car to go because you might get lost otherwise.

This place holds a lot of significance for me because it was there that I proposed to my partner to become my girlfriend about 4 years ago, and we currently live together.

Back then, I didn't know about #hive, let alone this beautiful community that is being built. The path is a dirt road and quite narrow, so it’s good to go in a vehicle with high clearance or on a motorcycle and in summer because if you don't have skill, you might fall.

CULTURE
In this area, it's like a small village belonging to Amaga; people live off tourism and wood. People transport themselves by motorcycle or horseback since the main road is about 40 minutes away. In this area, you can find both lunches and breakfasts, and I recommend trying a delicacy called ABORRAJADO, which is a type of plantain with cheese.

On Sundays, many tourists come to visit this paradise to enjoy delicious food, as well as groups of cyclists and motorcyclists.

EXCITEMENT AND DANGER

Being there is a crazy experience because after a delicious breakfast, you can start a walk along the tracks of a train that passed through years ago and go through 4 tunnels in total darkness; you might also encounter bats and snakes. Additionally, you can see several beautiful water streams along the way. At the end of this journey, you reach a wooden bridge over a precipice, and only the brave cross to the other side because you have to ask your other foot for permission to make it across. I should add that on Sundays and public holidays, a jumping company comes for the most daring to jump into the void on a rope.

Colombia is a wonderful country full of many magical places that sometimes we cannot visit due to time or budget. But whenever you can, check out this marvelous country and especially the department of Antioquia.

Saludos viajeros como están...

Empiezo diciendo que recordar es vivir; hoy quiero hablarles de un lugar que he visitado en 2 ocasiones, pero espero este año volver allí cuando el invierno se vaya de mi país.

El lugar que les hablo se llama el Viaducto, queda alrededor de 2 horas desde la ciudad de Medellín donde puedes ir hasta el pueblo de Amaga y allí arquilar un jeep para que te lleven a este lugar que es mágico.
Por otro puedes hacerlo como lo hice yo mi primera vez que fui en bicicleta donde conocí este lugar mágico o también como fue mi segunda vez que fui en Moto con mi pareja actual.
Pero te sugiero que llegues hasta el pueblo y rentes el carro para ir porque te puedes perder.

Este lugar tiene mucho significado para mi porque allí fue cuando le propuse a mi pareja que nos hiciéramos novios hace ya unos 4 años y actualmente vivimos juntos.

En ese entonces no conocía de #hive y mucho menos de esta bella comunidad que se esta construyendo.
El camino es en carrera destapada y bien angosta por eso es bueno ir en un carro que tenga la carrocería alta o en una moto y en verano porque si no tienes destreza te puedes caer.

CULTURA**
En este sector es como una vereda del pueblo de Amaga,las personas viven del turismo y de la madera.
Las personas se transportan allí en moto o en caballo ya que la carreta principal esta alrededor de unos 40 minutos.
En este sector podes encontrar tanto almuerzos como desayuno y te recomiendo que pruebes un manjar llamado ABORRAJADO que es una especie de platano con queso.

Los Domingos va mucho turista a visitar este paraíso a comer rico como también grupos de ciclistas y motociclistas.

EMOCIÓN Y PELIGRO

Estar allí es una cosa de locos ya que después de comer un rico desayuno podes emprender una caminata por los rieles de un tren que pasaba años atrás y pasar por 4 túneles con total oscuridad; ademas te puedes encontrar murciélagos y serpientes.
También puedes observar durante el camino varios afluentes de agua muy bonitos.
Al final de este recorrido llegas a un puente en madera que esta como un precipicio y solo los valientes pasan al otro lado porque por donde te toca caminar le tienes que pedir permiso a tu otro pie para lograrlo.
Añado que los Domingos y Lunes festivo va una empresa de jumping para los mas ozados se tiren en la cuerda hacia el vació.

Colombia es una país maravilloso lleno de muchos sitios mágicos que a veces por el tiempo o el presupuesto no podemos visitar. Pero cuando puedas mira esta maravilla de país y mucho mas el departamento de Antioquia.
