The following is about my experience in Slovakia to where I hitchhiked soon after Steemfest 3.
This highway must be one with the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen.
So, after arriving late to Ružomberok, Slovakia with a Polish truck driver who kept yelling "kurwa" every other minute, I searched myself a bush to camp for the night.
The next day, after wild camping on a hill, I woke up like "oh, there's mountains here" - I never saw them in the dark on the previous day.
Gotta say, I like mountains.
A mountain next to Ružomberok.
Some fortress on the way to Prešov.
After hitching another ride to Košice, I managed to find myself a host - a Turkish guy studying in Slovakia - to couch surf at. Given the turn of recent events in Steemfest, I found it ironic to step into a house smelling like weed.
And yes, I smoked with him, twice.
In the last night of my stay when I smoked, I got sleepy and blacked out on the sofa. I woke up after midnight to another guy - a friend of the Turkish guy. "Oh, hi, we haven't met yet", I reached my hand towards him. Then we smoked a joint between the three of us, and I fell asleep again. Didn't see Max anymore in the morning though.
The Turkish guy was pretty chill (he smoked weed after all); we talked about languages, history and we even jammed a little with drums and guitar/bass.
Anyway, here's few shots from Košice:
They had wine in a frigging 5 liter junk in there in a store, and my Turkish friend bought that, lol!
