This was our last day of our trip to Belgium for now ..
We spent the first part walking a bit through Mons, visiting areas we had previously missed the day before. We visited the Jardin du Mayeur , a nice garden filled with beautiful flowers, statues and a fountain ..

We quickly visited the Saint Waltrude Collegiate Church, which was this huge, imposing citadel-like church we usually passed by each day, just admiring the exterior .

It was easily one of the biggest churches I've seen so far and is filled with beautiful and well preserved decorations .

Leuven was the next destination for us and it took us about an hour and a half to get there from Mons.
It's a beautiful city where most people get around by bike, which we're all great fans of :).

The main attractions here are the central plaza, with Saint Peter's church and the Leuven Town Hall, one of the most decorated architectural creations I've ever seen .

The last stop for today was Brussels..
We started by visiting the European Parliament building,

and later we arrived in the city centre square, for a few beers and a nice burger based meal at La Brouette .

This holiday was over way too quick for us and a bit fast paced as we got to visit about 6 cities in 3-4 days .. but we still loved it .
Belgium has very hospitable people and wonderful architecture .. If you're into taking pictures you'll find yourself..busy :)
