Today is not Wednesday, but Sunday, so this post is also dedicated to #SublimeSunday, inspired by @c0ff33a, and #BeautifulSunday, initiated by @ace108.
January 19th. In Russia, Orthodox Christians celebrate the Epiphany of the Lord. New Year's holidays are long behind us, but New Year's paraphernalia and decorations are still on the streets of our city. When are they cleaned? I wanted to see it last year, but I missed this moment. It seems to me that on February 1, the city Theater Square will be empty again. I've always wanted to capture the moment when all the New Year's buildings in the city are being dismantled, but I've never caught this moment yet.
Today, Sunday, I went to work at the office. Yes, sometimes it happens on a day off that you have to. A westerly wind began to blow at night. It's a wind of change. For Russia, such a wind always brings change, literally and figuratively. In summer, on hot days, it brings rain and coolness, but in winter it is a warm wind that brings snow and warming. It started snowing wet in the afternoon. This winter turned out to be amazing and unusual.
From the office, I decided to walk through the Theater Square to see what was happening in this place.
The most important and interesting fun for children this winter on Theater Square is riding such small snowmobiles. Yes, technological progress is progressing rapidly, and technical innovations appear every year. In my childhood, the winter Games consisted of skiing and sledding. Now children have a lot of choices in games. The main thing is that they should be active outdoors, not sitting at the computer.
By the way, looking at this pair, I realized that to drive this device, something needs to be configured on a smartphone.
How many people have already taken this photo? I've seen many people standing in the pose of a photographer with a smartphone in their hands in a similar pose. I'm not an original in this regard.
But I also decided to take this photo.
I was passing by the Smena children's cinema and looked out into the courtyard. An interesting festive composition is always prepared here. Children are the best critics, they won't forgive a boring picture.
There's a great pizzeria in this movie theater. I like the pizza they make here. I've also heard great reviews about this pizzeria from my friends.
I left the square and saw that snow was falling not only from the sky, but the wind was picking up snow from the ground. It looks like snow is suspended just above the intersection. At the square, it seemed to me that the snow had already stopped falling, but at this point, I realized that I was mistaken.
An interesting point. I walked 200 meters from the intersection and there is no wind, and the snow is not falling or rising. Peace and quiet.
It's +2 degrees outside, almost March weather. But the forecast is for a cold snap in the coming week to -15 degrees.
And what is happening in the World? Bitcoin soared up again, $ETH fell down. But now I'm reading the news that the Trump team has started buying up Ethereum. I am waiting for the growth of the exchange rate of this coin and, of course, $HIVE
