This is a post to go with #WednesdayWalk challenge by @tattoodjay.

Today I went home from the office by a special route. I decided to walk under the light arches that were installed at the beginning of winter. They will most likely be dismantled in the spring, but they may also be left standing. I won't guess, I'll just see it later. But for now, I'll just show them to your, friends.
By the way, soon I will be walking home from the office in the daytime, and not under the lights in the dark. The length of daylight has already increased by more than 1 hour.

So, I went through the first row of arches. They are located on the corner of Vorovsky and Karl Marx streets. These are the street names in my city. There are only solid names of revolutionaries and terrorists of the last century. At the end of last year, the City Duma decided to rename such streets. But after the President's speech on the inadmissibility of such actions at the current time, the City Duma suspended this decision. What will happen next? One thing is clear, no one will go against the President.
I'm moving on.

There is an Apollo children's park on my way. I specifically walked down this street to enter this place. I thought there were no people in the park, but it turned out that I was wrong. People were walking in the park and I had to seize the moment so that there was no one on the path passing under the light arches.

It's an unusually warm winter, the end of January, and the air temperature is hovering around 0. It's snowing wet again. Large, heavy snowflakes, which can hardly even be called snowflakes, are real snowballs. The photo shows traces of these small meteorites that are flying towards the earth.
The year 2025 has already begun, but I think that these attributes will remain in this place for a long time.

Vyatka Kikimora. Someone dressed her in warm winter clothes. In the summer, she stands on it without this outfit. It seems to me that there are 7 such figures installed in our city, but my daughter told me that there are more of them.
Who is a Kikimora? This is a swamp forest troll girl. In fairy tales, she can be kind, but often evil. But she is always shown to be funny and mischievous. Someone decided to make this lady a symbol of our city.

Here is another arch. More precisely, it's not even quite an arch, but a kind of half-bent trees. Last year, I didn't even notice this small park, but this year people are walking in it because the utilities keep it clean and remove the snow. Probably, if this winter had been snowy like last year, the snow would not have been removed. That's another advantage of a warm winter.

Of course, such structures complicate the work of cleaning footpaths, but now there are manual snow plows that help to do this kind of work. And there are just small special tractors. And it's nice and fun for people to walk along such paths.

Friends, goodbye! Until the next walk.
