Indonesia's independence itself was achieved because of the cooperation of all Indonesian people, one of which was due to the role and struggle of the people of Bireuen Regency, which is known as the City of Struggle.

Good evening, my friends, wherever you are. I hope you are all healthy and happy, allowing you to carry out your daily activities as usual. I hope you all have a pleasant day.

On this occasion, I would like to share about one of the regencies in Aceh province, which is also my hometown: Bireuen Regency. Bireuen Regency became an autonomous region on October 12, 1999, after being split off from North Aceh Regency.

Furthermore, this regency has an extraordinary history.

So, please continue to follow my blog to see some beautiful images of Bireuen through my blog, along with short articles from me.

Four Spring Monument, Bireuen City
The nickname "City of Struggle" was given to Bireuen Regency by Indonesia's first president, Sukarno.
Around 1948, this nickname was given for several reasons, one of which was because Bireuen served as the third capital of Indonesia for a week after Yogyakarta fell to the Dutch colonial government during World War II.

These are some photos I took while in the city. This one shows a monument located in the center of Bireuen, known as the Bireuen City Intersection Monument. This monument was built to commemorate the services of the heroes and as a token of appreciation from the central government to the people of my city.

Then my journey continued into the area that entered the Bireuen city park, there I saw that the traffic was not too busy, besides that the car park was also very neatly arranged along the road which was always supervised by local officers. What I also liked was that today the weather was very bright so my journey looked more enjoyable.

Bireuen city park area
These are some pictures I took when entering the Tugu Park Roundabout in Bireuen City, right in front of Meuligo, Bireuen Regency. This park is usually busy with local residents in the mornings for exercise, and is also crowded with local young men and women in the evenings, especially on Sundays.

My friends...
The Tugu Park facility in the city of struggle has long been used by the community for light exercise due to the lack of other adequate facilities. Some time ago, a green open space (RTH) was built at the former Cot Gapu Stadium, but this facility is still not perfect as a place that can be used for jogging, children's play areas, or a place to rest and relieve stress. Therefore, I personally believe that this is one of the local government's duties to build an adequate green open space for the people of Bireuen for the future.

While I was in the Bireuen city park, several monuments caught my attention, one of which was the Batee Kureng Monument.

"Unfaded by the heat, unworn by the rain."

This is the meaning emanating from this monument, which stands firmly in the heart of Bireuen. It was once located in the courtyard of the Meuligo neighborhood, but was later moved here, which serves as a park for the Bireuen community.

This monument also has a long history, symbolizing the struggle of the Bireuen people in the past.

Next, I headed to another corner and took some photos showing the traffic in Bireuen.

Here are some of the images. Hopefully, this gives you a glimpse of what the city looks like and the traffic flow during the day.

I took some pictures of this corner of Bireuen during the day, primarily to find some trophies from an event held in my village. It just so happened that I had the idea to travel to the center of Bireuen and take some pictures of that corner of the city, then create a blog to share with this beloved community.

Okay, friends, those are some pictures, along with a short post from me on this blog about Bireuen. I hope you all enjoy and are entertained by what I've shared. I'd also like to know which of these trophy pictures stands out the most and which one would be most suitable for the quiz competition held in my village.

That's all for now.
Greetings, everyone.
See you in my next blog.
